(1) Chairman and member shall not be re-appointed and shall not be eligible for appointment to any government service.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the chairman and members may be eligible for appointment to the following posts in the following cases:-
(a) To be appointed as an officer of a constitutional body,
(b) A member of the commission to be appointed as the chairman of the same commission,
(c) To be appointed to any political position or any position to investigate, examine or investigate a subject or to submit an opinion, opinion or recommendation after studying or investigating a subject.
(3) If a member of the commission is appointed to the position of chairman of the same commission, the period during which he is a member will be counted as a pair when calculating his term of office.
